Summer Vacation 2010

This year we spend the 4th of July at Disney World, and once again it did not disappoint. It was incredibly hot, humid, and crowded, but still loads of fun. Simone loved every second and cried when we left. Here's the photographic sampling, in all mixed up order.

Memorial Day Weekend: Maryland

We had an eventful Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday we went down to the National Mall and saw the American History Museum. But I forgot to put the memory card back in the camera, so we have no pictures of that. We then spent Sunday and Monday up in Maryland visiting Simone's little cousin Jack. First stop, the children's museum in Baltimore -- Port Discovery...

Lots of playtime, as well as some arts and crafts...

Simone LOVED the ball pit!!! She couldn't stop kicking and giggling.


After the museum, we had a BBQ at Uncle Jim's. The kids ran through the sprinkler to cool off while dinner was cooking. Ahhhhh, those were the days....

Attending a Birthday Party

We're still getting used to Simone having a social schedule, which these days is more extensive than ours. This past Saturday Simone was invited to one of her friend's birthday party. It was at a local park/farm, and here are just a few pictures to give you a flavor of the day.

She played shy when we first arrived and then warmed up and ran around like a typical 2 yr old.

The party included a wagon wide around the farm.
